Wei Sheng grew up in a humble family in Pahang, where his father worked at a timber factory and was the sole breadwinner. After losing his father in a car accident during his final year of secondary school, his family fell into financial hardship.
A life-changing exchange program in the U.S. sparked a powerful desire for a better future. At 22, he made a 60% profit on his first trade but later lost his entire scholarship fund. With his sister’s support, he enrolled in a professional course, began blogging about his trading journey, and eventually created one of Malaysia’s largest free stock-sharing communities.
His turning point came when he earned RM600,000 from crypto in 2017, clearing over RM400,000 in debt. Since then, Wei Sheng has trained thousands of students and founded Traderpreneur Xcellence with a mission to empower others with practical trading knowledge and risk awareness. He teaches several specialized courses including GIM, TMT, and GSM designed to equip students with practical skills and a disciplined mindset.
